Commissioning Guide
A liquid filling machine price is comparable only after change parts, drip measurement and site interfaces are named. This dossier is a purchase-decision check, not an engineering stamp and not a compliance certificate. Resolve the items below before selecting a supplier quotation or treating a single number as installed project cost.
Decision dossier
Before a price is useful, write the change parts required for the smallest and largest fill volumes: pistons, nozzles, hoses and any hopper inserts. Ask how nozzle drips and net fill quantity are measured during restart, including discarded containers after prime. A public volumetric-piston reference can show why interchangeable filling units exist; it does not set your SAT number. Throughput should cite viscosity and temperature, not only a nominal bottles-per-hour figure.
List three-phase voltage and frequency, connected load if offered, compressed air demand, cooling water if the supplier claims a jacketed hopper, footprint, work envelope and PLC interface names. Confirm whether the product is gravity fed or pressurized. If the cell must talk to a capper or conveyor, name the signal; otherwise keep the filler as a single machine so acceptance stays bounded.
Owner acceptance should rest on the written trial method, not on a catalog accuracy sentence. FAT can witness the agreed liquid and containers if the contract says so. SAT on the plant floor remains a contract duty between buyer and supplier. Selection limits to write down: a piston path may not pass large soft particles without damage; a water trial does not prove a higher-viscosity cutoff; a machine-only price excludes site work. Ask for documents (material list, FAT protocol, spare-parts list) rather than treating a logo on a brochure as a certificate this service verified.
